Jazz Fest 2026: Eagles, Stevie Nicks, and Lorde Headline a Stacked Lineup

Two weekends, thirteen days of music, and a lineup that reads like a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame reunion. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival — "Jazz Fest" to every Louisianan alive — runs April 23 through May 3 at the Fair Grounds Race Course, and the 2026 headliner cube is one of the strongest the festival has ever assembled.

Weekend one brings Kings of Leon, Lorde, Stevie Nicks, Tyler Childers, Rod Stewart, and David Byrne. Weekend two delivers Widespread Panic, Lainey Wilson, The Black Keys, the Eagles, Little Feat, Earth Wind & Fire, and closing-night legends Herbie Hancock, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Jon Batiste anchors a Friday slot in the first weekend.

If you're going: the Fair Grounds are accessible via the Jazz Fest Express shuttle from downtown. Pack water, cash, and a poncho — late April afternoons are as likely to bring a thunderstorm as a perfect 75 degrees.
